Julie Quinn
Treasure Valley Ambassador
Hailing from Wyoming, Julie moved to the Treasure Valley in 2001. She works full-time for Blue Cross of Idaho as a Care Coordinator. The role is designed to assist vulnerable adults who have both Medicare and Medicaid benefits to ensure they are receiving all of the support they need as well as helping them to navigate the complexity of health insurance. Prior to working for Blue Cross Julie spent 25 years in healthcare as well as being an instructor for Medical assistants.
Julie loves cooking and baking. She began her cake-making journey when her son was little and always had specific ideas for what his cake should be. She has also made her sister’s wedding cake and many baby shower cakes over the years. Now that her children are grown she wanted to find a way to continue to make cakes. Volunteer work has also been a significant part of Julie’s life, donating her time to lend a hand at A Night to Shine, the Caldwell BMX track, Boy Scouts of America, and Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo and Concerts. She stumbled across Cake4Kids while looking for new volunteer ideas and knew this would be an amazing opportunity to bring smiles to kids' faces.
