Frequently Asked Questions
While our volunteers sprinkle a whole lotta love with their baking, our team is working their magic behind the scenes. With 14,000 cake requests in a single year, over 6,000 volunteer bakers, and over 2,000 caseworker partners, we couldn’t operate without our staff. We’re recruiting and onboarding thousands of volunteers, providing baker support, and making sure every single cake gets to a child. We’re partnering with agencies across the United States and working with thousands of caseworkers throughout the year to make sure we’re supporting as many youth as possible. We’re managing our website and systems, communications, building community support, fundraising, and so much more. And just like any other program, we also have expenses such as insurance, bookkeeping, software, and supplies that make our work possible.
Our small but mighty team works tirelessly to further our mission. But we need your support to reach even more children in need.
