Elise joined Cake4kids in Spring of 2021 after learning about Cake4kids in a parenting group on Facebook. Elise lives in South Boston with her husband, Gregg, and has two children, ages 20 and 22. Her oldest son has a severe peanut and nut allergy which motivated Elise to bake all of her children’s birthday cakes while they were growing up. She has also made birthday and celebratory cakes and cupcakes for friends over the years. Finding Cake4kids would provide her a perfect opportunity to share her passion for baking with other children, however, when she first inquired, the Boston Chapter had not yet launched. Delays because of the Covid pandemic had put a hold on starting a chapter in the Boston area. So Elise helped fellow Ambassador, Tali Pinnolis, get the Boston Chapter up and running, officially launching it in May 2021.

Elise is super excited to be a part of an organization that helps underserved youth feel celebrated and recognized on their special day. In her free time, Elise enjoys skiing, hiking, reading, and traveling.
