Cynthia Castro Sweet
Western Washington Ambassador

Cynthia joined Cake4Kids as the Western Washington Ambassador in summer of 2020.  Cynthia lives in Chimacum, WA and works remotely as a research director for Omada Health.  While she's had a professional career for decades, baking has been a lifelong hobby ever since her grandmother gave her a starter decorating kit at age 10! Since then, she's taken numerous professional pastry classes, completed an intensive internship at a bakery, and ran her own bakery catering business, all while keeping her "real" job in health services research.

Cynthia discovered Cake4Kids in 2015 in a local newspaper when she lived in San Jose, CA, and became a volunteer baker for the Santa Clara County chapter. After moving to Washington state in 2019, she was determined to start a chapter in the Evergreen state. She is excited to launch the first chapter in Washington, and looks forward to bringing more smiles to the faces of children on the Olympic Peninsula, one birthday cake at a time!
