Cathy’s mom shared a love and knowledge of baking with her. She doesn’t really remember a time that she wasn’t baking. Cathy began volunteering at 14 as a candy striper at the local hospital. Except for a couple of years in college, she has been working with volunteer organizations ever since, most involving children and animals. Upon hearing about Cake4Kids from a friend, Cathy saw it as a perfect opportunity to combine her love for baking with her desire to help children. When the opportunity arose to work at Cake4Kids, it seemed like a natural fit for Cathy, aligning perfectly with her skills and interests.

When she’s not working or baking or talking about baking or looking at recipes related to baking, Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, and her family and friends, along with snuggling their dogs.
