Who We Serve

to enriching the lives of children at risk, in need or in foster care by ensuring they feel special on their birthday. Children who are loved and valued have a higher level of self esteem which is critical to their success in school, in social interactions and sports. Cake4Kids is helping one child at a time feel good about themselves at least one day a year.

Cake4Kids mission is to serve San Francisco Bay Area agencies that cater to disadvantaged children and youth. As our volunteer base grows, our mission will expand and we will continue to add new agencies.

We hope to provide services to many San Francisco Bay Area organizations with children in need. However, we are just getting started and are currently helping the following organizations listed below.

Cake4Kids partners with Hotel Avante and Domain Hotel to help local foster care and at-risk youth have a happy birthday. Hotel Avante and Domain Hotel graciously donate their executive business meeting rooms for Cake4Kids monthly volunteer orientations, business meetings, classes and events.

Cake4Kids was founded in September, 2010 in Sunnyvale, CA by Libby Gruender to provide free birthday cakes to at risk youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Cake4Kids mission is to serve San Francisco Bay Area agencies that cater to disadvantaged children and youth and to provide a service that brings smiles and hope to children who wouldn't otherwise have a birthday. As Cake4Kids volunteer base grows, our mission is expanding and we continue to add new agencies.
